Japanese player Jay Friend defeated Polish player Maks Kasnikowski in straight sets to become the second player to reach the final of the “Istanbul Challenger – 78th TED Open”.
In the semifinals of the tournament, hosted by TED Spor Kulübü, Friend defeated Kasnikowski 7–6, 6–4 to book his place in the final.
Jay Friend will take to the court on Sunday, 13 September at 15:00, with the title on the line.
